How to apply theme settings?
Customizations that will be applied to all assets of your website are known as Theme settings. If you want to keep your customizations constant across pages and system settings, you can edit a theme's settings from the content editor for any page or post using that theme:

Navigate to your content:
- Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Website Pages.
- Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
- Blog: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Blog.
- Click the name of your content.
- In the content editor, click the Edit menu and select Theme : Outlet.
Edit global content in the content editor
You can edit global content (header and footer) from pages or posts in the content editor. Changes made to global content will be applied to all content using a template that contains the same global content. In the Outlet theme we have two global content areas (Website header & Website footer) available:

Navigate to your content:
- Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Website Pages.
- Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
- Blog: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Blog.
- On the content index page, click the name of your content.
- In the content editor, click the content icon and then click the global content icon for the global module.
- In the dialog box, click Open in global content editor.
- In the global content editor, click the content icon and use the drag and drop tools to edit the modules in the global group.
- To edit a navigation menu, click the module. In the sidebar editor click Edit for the menu. In the dialog box, continue to customize the navigation menu.
- To preview the global content on existing pages or posts, click the View on dropdown menu in the top left and select a page or post where the global content is displayed. To view the global content by itself, select Group only instead.
- To create a multi-language version of the global content, click the Language dropdown menu in the top left and select Add/edit multi-language variations. Learn more about creating multi-language global content.
- When you're finished editing the global content, click Publish to [X] assets in the top right. These changes will be applied to all pages and posts using a template that includes the global content.
How to set up a blog area?
You can choose a template for your blog pages using Outlet theme blog templates. By default you can create a template for the following:
- Blog Post: Template for a single blog post.
- Blog Listing: Template to list all your blog entries in one place.
To change blog templates follow these steps:
- Go to your HubSpot account’s settings > Scroll down to the left panel > Select Website from the dropdown menu.
- From the drop-down, select the blog option > Choose the templates option.
- Go to the Current View option > From the drop-down select Outlet.
- Now select the blog listing page and click on the edit page to continue editing the existing blog template. Select the module through from drag and drop method and apply changes.
- You can select the number of posts per listing page, select to show summaries and images, and the option to use feature images in listing summaries.
How to configure System Templates?
You can use system templates to create a template for system pages such as error pages, password prompts, and search results.
To alter the system templates, follow these steps:
- Go to your HubSpot portal’s Settings > Scroll down to the left panel
- Click Website dropdown > Select Pages
- You will see several sections. Select the System Pages section > Set a template for the system pages after clicking it.
- You can see there are the system pages, Errors, Password Prompts, and Search Results for all of your respective domains.
- Choose the respective system template of our theme from the drop-down menu
- The system page template will be used and applied to your website.
How to set up email subscription settings?
You can also select the email subscription template.
- Go to Settings > Marketing > Email > Subscriptions
- From the dropdown menu, you can select the Outlet theme for the Subscription preference page, Subscription Update confirmation Page, and Backup unsubscribe page.
- After you have saved your modifications, you will have applied the said template to your chosen pages
